Seasoned ranch hands will love this variation of their favorite dressing. Cottage cheese brings the protein and will take your salads to a new territory.
¾ cup cottage cheese
1 ½ tablespoons ranch seasoning
1 ½ tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon chopped chives or dill
pinch of salt
Add all ingredients and 3 tablespoons water to a food processor or blender, and mix until smooth. If dressing is still too thick, add 1 teaspoon of water at a time to reach desired consistency. Makes about 1 cup.
